Welcome to WWE-NEWS.COM for WWE Super SmackDown Results – January 31st, 2020. Tonight’s episode came live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It looked like we get a little extra pyro for tonight’s Super SmackDown theme. Michael Cole welcomed us, joined by Corey Graves.

Loser Eats Dog Food stipulation added to the main event

Roman Reigns came out to a pop. Reigns stopped on the stage and put his fist down for even more fireworks. The Big Dog headed to the ring while Greg Hamilton did the introduction. Besides, Cole showed us stills from Roman’s Falls Count Anywhere win over King Baron at Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He also talked about how it came down to Reigns and winner Drew McIntyre in Sunday’s 30-Man Royal Rumble main event. The Usos were out next to join Reigns in the ring.

Reigns took the mic and said the good news is that he kicked Corbin’s ass all over Minute Maid Park on Sunday. The bad news is… Reigns stopped to think about it, looking disappointed. The Usos finished his sentence and said Reigns lost – he lost the Rumble Match. Reigns said he did lose and he doesn’t like to lose, but they’re going to make it alright tonight by kicking King Corbin’s ass and his little b*****s, then focus on WrestleMania 36.

However, the music interrupted and Corbin came out with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to the stage. So, fans booed and Corbin told them to save it because the feeling is mutual. He said Reigns cheated and only won the match on Sunday because The Usos helped him. Corbin said he would’ve done better and even won the Rumble Match if it weren’t for the cheating in the Falls Count Anywhere match. He said he demanded this six-man match because he wants Reigns and The Usos to pay for keeping him from the title shot at WrestleMania.

The Usos took turns taking shots at Corbin, Roode and Ziggler. Corbin said he bets they had a lot of time to come up with jokes while they’re sitting at home after embarrassing their family – a reference to Jimmy’s legal troubles. He showed us a replay of how they embarrassed Reigns with dog food last month.

Reigns said either Corbin has a weird dog food fetish or he’s still living in that moment as if it’s the best moment of his career. He proposed a stipulation for tonight’s match, mentioning it as the main event. The loser will have to eat dog food. Fans chanted “yes!” while Reigns was waiting for an answer. Corbin accepted the stipulation. The Usos were glad Corbin accepted because they have a surprise they brought. They then have a huge amount of wet dog food brought to the stage on a table. The music hit and the announcers hyped tonight’s line-up for Super SmackDown.

The Miz & John Morrison won a Fatal 4 Way to earn a shot at SmackDown Tag Team Titles match against The New Day

The Heavy Machinery came out first for tonight’s Fatal 4 Way opener. The winners of this match will become the new #1 contender to challenge SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia next month. Otis and Tucker hit the ring and here came the commercial. After the break, The Revival was wrapping their entrance. The Lucha House Party was also in the ring already. The Miz came out first for his team, followed by John Morrison.

They headed to the ring together. Dash started off with Tucker and they went at it. Tucker dropped Dash with a shoulder. They went at it and Tucker caught Dash in a bear hug. Otis tagged in for a pop. Tucker tossed Dash into a bear hug from Otis. Otis kept it locked in the middle of the ring. Dash fought free with headbutts. Dash clubbed Otis around and Dawson came in for the double team. Morrison and Metalik tagged in to go at it. Metalik got the upperhand and covered but The Revival broke it up.

Lince flew in and took out The Revival with a double team. Otis and Tucker came in overpowering Lucha House Party but it backfired and they got send to the floor. Dorado flew out but Dash and Dawson caught him, and then drove him face-first into the ring post. Morrison leveled Metalik with a kick, sending him to the floor to avoid a pin. He climbed to the top and flew out, taking down Tucker and Otis on the floor. Miz was alone in the ring while Morrison and fans were cheering him on.

A-Lister looked to run the ropes but Dawson cut him off with a big clothesline. Lince came in and kicked Dawson, sending him back out. He ran the ropes and leapt out, taking down the other competitors in the match. Here came the commercial with everyone down on the outside of the ring. After the break, Lince went at it with Morrison in the ring. Miz tagged in for a pop and they double teamed him but missed. Morrison dropped Metalik off the apron. Dorado hit a double Stunner to Miz and Morrison.

Lince looked for a tag but Metalik was down on the floor. Otis tagged in and unloaded on Miz and Morrison, and then The Revival as they ran in. He scooped Miz and spin around, and then slammed him. Tucker also came in with some offense for a pop. Morrison kicked Otis, who kept taking shots but just got fire up, dancing around while removing his shirt. Otis launched Morrison with a big overhead throw. He nailed a running double splash to Miz and Morrison in the corner.

Fans cheered as Otis hit the Caterpillar on Miz and Morrison at the same time. Miz kicked out just in time. Otis walked into a big boot from Miz. Miz came off the second rope but Otis caught him with a crossbody. Tucker came in for The Compactor but Dash sent him to the floor. Otis blocked a Skull Crushing Finale. More back and forth until Otis slammed Miz but Dash broke it up as he’s legal. Dawson unloaded on Otis. Metalik tagged in and unloaded on Dawson. Lince flew off the top for a two count on Dawson.

There’s chaos as everyone got involve. Morrison flew in with a Spear to Tucker. Otis hit a sitdown powerbomb to Morrison but he kicked out before the one count. He tangled with Dawson, who nailed DDT. Dawson and Lince traded offense. Lince hit a bottom rope moonsault, then a second rope moonsault. He climbed to the top for a third but Dash cut him off. Dawson took Lince to the top and hit a back superplex. Dash followed up with a top rope splash. He sent him to the floor as Dawson rolled Miz for a two count.

Miz came back with a Skull Crushing Finale to Dawson. Morrison tagged and followed up with a Starship Pain to Dawson for the pin to earn the title shot. After the match, Miz and Morrison celebrated as Morrison’s music hit. The announcers confirmed their title shot for WWE Super ShowDown 2020 in Saudi Arabia.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross def. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross made their way out. The winners of this match will become the new #1 contender to WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors. Rose and Deville attacked Bliss and Cross in the corner while they’re talking. Cross ended up trapping Deville in the apron on the outside, beating her up. Bliss came over and rocked Deville. Rose nailed Bliss on the floor and Deville sent Bliss into the announce table.

Deville brought Bliss in the ring and worked her over. The referee backed her off, warning her and checking on Bliss while she was holding her neck. The finally bell rang. Deville went right for a two count on Bliss. Deville hit knees to Bliss while she was down. Rose tagged in and stomped on Bliss in the corner. Fans tried to rally for Bliss but Deville came in with another tag. Deville controlled Bliss and grounded her.

More back and forth between the two sides. Cross broke up Rose’s two count on Bliss. Rose took Bliss back to the corner and beat her down. Deville and Rose with more quick tags. Finally, Bliss dropped Deville with a big strike. Cross reached for a tag as Bliss slowly crawled. Rose tagged in and went for Bliss but got send into the bottom turnbuckle.

Bliss finally tagged in Cross. Cross unloaded on Rose with clotheslines, then knocked Deville off the apron for a pop. She splashed Rose into the corner and hit the running bulldog. Cole said the winners “may” earn a future title shot from Sane and Asuka. Cross screamed some more and ran wild, going to the top. She nailed a crossbody to Rose and covered but Deville broke it up with a running knee.

Bliss ran in and dropped Deville with a right hand. Rose turned it around on Cross and dropped her. Cross came back with a neckbreaker. Bliss tagged in and climbed to the top wile fans were cheering her on. Bliss nailed Twisted Bliss on Rose for the pin to win. After the match, the announcers were giving mixed signals on if Cross and Bliss have earned a title shot or not.

Braun Strowman became the new Intercontinental Champion

Braun Strowman came out to a pop. WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was out next with Cesaro and Sami Zayn. The bell hit and they sized each other up while Sami was talking trash. Nakamura started off with kicks. Braun dropped Shinsuke with a big shoulder. Braun charged in the corner but ran into a boot. Nakamura jumped on Braun’s back with a Sleeper but Braun rammed him back into the corner and broke it.

Braun delivered big strikes in the corner. Sami got on the apron to distract the referee but Braun kept control. Braun missed a running big boot in the corner. Sami distracted from the apron as Nakamura worked Braun over and grounded him. Fans booed as Sami rocked Braun from the apron while Nakamura distracted the referee. Nakamura grounded Braun in the middle of the ring.

Braun looked to turn it around but Nakamura took him back to the corner and unloaded with kicks. Strowman powered out and clubbed Nakamura down with a huge blow. He hit two more big shoulders. Braun launched Nakamura and landed a splash in the corner. He continued to dominate while fans were cheering him on. Nakamura rolled to the floor for a breather but Braun ran around the ring, dropping him with another shoulder.

Braun brought it back into the ring and scooped for the powerslam but Nakamura slide out. They tangled and Nakamura dropped Braun with a kick to the back of the neck. Nakamura followed up with a stiff knee for another close two count. Sami started exposing the top turnbuckle while the referee yelled at him. Cesaro tried to come in with a cheap shot but the referee stopped him.

So, this led to Strowman sending Nakamura into the exposed turnbuckle. Braun went on and nailed the big powerslam to Nakamura for the pin to win the title, his first big singles win. After the match, the music hit as Braun took the title and celebrated the big win. Fans cheered him on while Sami was furious.

Sheamus def. Shorty G

Sheamus was out first for the rematch from Sunday. He just made it out to the stage when Shorty G came from behind and dropped him. G kept running to the ring and entered. Sheamus got to his feet on the stage and he’s furious. G watched from the ring and here came the commercial. After the break, Sheamus was in control. Cole said The Celtic Warrior has dominated through the break.

G sent Sheamus to the floor but Sheamus caught him in mid-air and delivered the rolling senton on the floor. Sheamus brought it back into the ring and stomped on G. He continued to dominate and talked trash, keeping G down. G fought back and connected with a headbutt but Sheamus dropped him and sent him back out. G caught Sheamus on the ropes. He fought back to the apron with forearms and punches.

G went back to the top and hit a missile dropkick to the middle of the ring. He hit a corner cannonball, putting Sheamus back down. G went back to the top and nailed the moonsault for a close two count. Sheamus countered and came back with offense. He nailed the Irish Curse backbreaker and nailed a big Brogue Kick for the pin to win. After the match, The Celtic Warrior stood tall and posed.

Naomi made a statement and took down Bayley

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley to the ring. Bayley was all smiles tonight while fans were booing her when she entered the ring. Cole pointed out how next week’s SmackDown will take place from Bayley’s hometown of San Jose, California. Bayley said, “Damn, I’m good!” She raised the title and went on about how she, a role model, defeated Lacey Evans to retain her title at the Royal Rumble.

So, fans quickly gave Bayley the “What!?” treatment. Bayley said she got payback on Evans for injuring her friend Sasha Banks and forcing her to miss the Rumble. She said she did all that with Evans’ daughter sitting in the front row. So, the fans booed Bayley. Bayley said now Evans’ daughter Summer has to look at her mother knowing she’s a loser. She said Summer can sit in the crowd with the rest of the sheep and watch her now if she needs someone new to look up to.

Moreover, Bayley went on and said it’s a given that Charlotte Flair will pick her for her title shot at WrestleMania 36. Bayley called Flair out but the music interrupted and Naomi came out instead, for her first appearance since returning to action in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match on Sunday. Naomi was wearing a new helmet, covering her face and lit up with LED lights. Graves called it a “LED fish bowl” on her head.

Naomi danced around and hit the ring while Bayley was looking down at her. She took the mic and said she’s missed SmackDown. She couldn’t help but hear all the trash talking. Naomi said Bayley is out here lying, saying she’s beaten everyone. She said Bayley has never defeated her. Naomi said as the former SmackDown Women’s Champion, the title could use some glow and the next chance she gets, she’s going to drag…

Bayley dropped Naomi with a shot to the face with the title out of nowhere. Fans booed as Bayley mounted Naomi with more strikes. Naomi came back and hit a big springboard kick from the second rope while fans popped, sending Bayley out to the floor on her back. She got fired up as her music started back up. Bayley recovered on the ground as Naomi danced around the ring to her music.

The Bloodline def. King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode

The music interrupted Naomi’s celebration and her husband Jimmy Uso came out with Jey Uso. They greeted each other on the ramp and The Usos hit the ring for tonight’s main event, which will see the losers eat dog food. Here came the commercial. After the break, Roman Reigns was in the ring with The Usos. Reigns and The Usos were looking at a table full of dog food at ringside. King Corbin was out next with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode for tonight’s six-man main event.

Corbin and Jimmy went at it to start. Jey came in for the double team. He ended up over the top rope to the floor. Roode caught Jey on the floor with a big Spinebuster. Jey got send over into the timekeeper’s area. The dog food was on display in front of the announcers and everyone was disgusted by it. Here came the commercial with Team Corbin in control. After the break, Roode was going at it with Jey. Finally, Jey dropped him and Ziggler came in. Ziggler also went down.

Corbin tagged in and knocked Reigns off the apron. He then sent Jey into the ring post to prevent the tag. Corbin covered Jey for a two count. He grounded Jey and told him to look out at the dog food. Jey fought off all three opponents from the corner as Reigns returned to the apron to reach for the tag. Reigns tagged in for a big pop. He unloaded on Corbin while fans were cheering him on. Reigns unloaded in the corner with clotheslines while fans were counting along with him. He leveled Corbin with a big boot in the middle of the ring.

Reigns readied for a Superman Punch but he has to fight off the distraction first. They tangled again in the middle of the ring. Corbin countered and chokeslammed Reigns for a two count. He went out and sent Jey into the steel ring steps. Corbin walked over to check out all the dog food. He went back in but Reigns rocked him with uppercuts. Roode ran in and distracted the referee, allowing Corbin to rake his eyes and Ziggler to run in with a superkick.

Corbin dropped Reigns with Deep Six but he somehow kicked out. He was frustrated. Fans chanted “Roman!” as Jimmy came back into the mix. Jimmy stopped Roode from handing the scepter to Corbin, sending Roode over the announce table with a suicide dive. Ziggler got involved as chaos broke out. Jey nailed a suicide dive, sending Ziggler over the announce table. Corbin and Reigns went at it real quick but Reigns rolled Corbin up out of nowhere for the pin to win.

After the match, The Bloodline celebrated. The Usos brought the chains and handcuffs over to cuff Corbin at ringside. He tried to fight them off but Reigns leveled him with a big Spear at ringside. Ziggler and Roode were still trapped over on the other side of the announce table. They chained Corbin to the ring post like Reigns was chained up last month. Reigns and The Usos rolled the cart of dog food over and Reigns started flinging it on him. The Usos grabbed the large tub of dog food and pour it all over Corbin. The crowd popped. Reigns dumped another tub of wet dog food all over Corbin. The Bloodline posed for a photo, all smiles, in front of a dog food covered Corbin. Thus, fans were cheering them on. Super SmackDown went off the air with Reigns and The Usos celebrating in the ring.
