Roman Reigns appeared on a RAW’s episode last year with something to say to the WWE Universe. It before long unfolded upon everybody that this promotion was as near reality as it could be. However, The Big Dog revealed that he would have to surrender his Universal Championship. Also, he would have to leave pro wrestling for a dubious period to commence his fight against leukemia. Reigns left and grasped his Shield brethren on the ramp as the WWE Universe cheered for him.
Earlier, Reigns returned on Raw this year and expressed that his leukemia is in remission to an uproarious pop. Further, The Big Dog made his way to WrestleMania 35. However, he proceeded to continue his in-ring actions and beat The Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre at The Show of Shows.
Roman Reigns won the 2019 ESPY Award for Best WWE Moment last night. His return to the ring after battling leukemia was chosen to be the winner of the Best WWE Moment. Moreover, ESPY Awards presented the first-ever WWE award in the category of Best WWE Moment this year. The nominees in the category of Best WWE Moment were as beneath:
Roman Reigns’ successful return after battling with leukemia
Ronda Rousey capturing her first Raw Women’s Title
Becky Lynch emerging as the winner of the main event of WrestleMania 35
Kofi Kingston earning the WWE Title for the first time in his career
Coming back meant more than just returning to the ring. It meant I was healthy enough to show my gratitude for those who sent their prayers, who continually thought about me, and that I was ready to raise awareness. Thank you for all those who voted, it is an honor. #ESPYS @WWE pic.twitter.com/u2rGTZkVLf
