Recently, Steve Austin sat down with TVInsider and spoke about a variety of topics. Stone Cold opened up about his recent appearance on WWE TV. Also, WWE Hall of Famer said that he’s there to help the company as much as he can. While talking to TVInsider, he explained why his recent RAW appearances make sense.
“I always like to say I want the current superstars to have all the television time, but if I can go out there and give someone a rub, or if I can get out there in front of a crowd that is still around when I was still active who want to see me again, that’s a cool feeling too.
“It’s just something that is happening. It’s not like I’m going to go back on the road full-time or anything. It’s some good opportunities. It makes sense TV-wise, business-wise. I’m there to lend a hand or help out as much as I can.”
Stone Cold’s Iconic Career
The Texas Rattlesnake is among the most compelling WWE Superstars in the history of the promotion. Austin’s popularity was the significant reason behind why Vince McMahon figured out how to conquer WCW in Monday Night Wars. At WrestleMania 19, he wrestled his last match against his arch-rival, The Rock. A neck injury ensured that Stone Cold could never contend in the ring again.
However, WWE Hall of Famer regularly showed up on WWE TV throughout the following quite a long while and does likewise right up ’til today. Recently, he directed the Universal title contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman on RAW. Austin ended up hitting a Stunner on current United States Champion AJ Styles. The Texas Rattlesnake didn’t stop here as he stunned Styles again after RAW went off the air.
