For five years Braun Strowman has established himself as one of the most dominated superstars to ever step inside a WWE ring. But how well do you know The Monster Among Men? Here are thirty facts and stats you need to know about Braun.

He was born and raised inn Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. His dad, Rick Shear is a softball legend, nicknamed The Crusher. Braun’s dad had a 685-career batting average and over 1800 home runs and USSSA tournament play.

I high School, Braun competed in football, wrestling and track. Braun was about five foot eight and 180 pound when he started high school. But by graduation he was six foot five and 305. He now comes in at six foot eight 385 pounds.

Braun eats about eight to nine thousand calories per day. Some of Braun’s early jobs include bussing tables and washing dishes at The Butcher Boys Café, 11 years at Pitstop Auto and security jobs at Charlotte bars and clubs.

In 2009, Braun decided to pursue a career as a strong man. In 2011, he won the North American Strongest Man competition held in Tunica, Mississippi. The following year he won the 2012 Arnold, Amateur Strongman World Champ.

Strowman befriended the World’s Strongest Man, Mark henry in 2010, while competing in Strongman. The WWE Hall of Famer encouraged Braun too pursue a career in WWE. In 2012, Strowman had a WWE tryout and signed in 2013.

Braun moved to Florida with $150 in his pocket and packed everything he owned into a little Kia Soul to begin his sports entertainment career. He debuted as a member of the Wyatt Family on August 24th, 2015, on RAW. The Following week he won his debut match and spoke for the first time.

The Monster Among Men set off on a solo career where he routinely dominated in handicap matches, all while demanding more competition. He started his career with a 17-month undefeated streak. The Monster Among Men utilizes the running powerslam as his finishing maneuver, first employing it on the October 17th, 2016, episode of RAW. 

Braun has won the Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship and twice held the RAW Tag Team Championship. His first title reign was with the Raw Tag Team titles at WrestleMania 34, alongside a 10-year-old who he selected from the crowd. If you watch the footage, you can see that Braun’s dad was begging to be his son’s tag team partner.

Strowman is one the only four superstars to pin Goldberg in WWE, joining Triple h, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. Braun won the 2018 Money in the Bank Ladder match, deciding to cash in 70 days later on Roman Reigns at WWE Hell in a Cell, 2018. He is the only Superstar to have a no contest decision in his cash-in match. Strowman is also the only superstar to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and Royal Rumble match.

The Monster Among Men won the greatest Royal Rumble match in April 2018, eliminating 13 superstars which is tied with Brock Lesnar for the most in a single Rumble match. Braun has a total 32 eliminations and five rumble match appearances. At Elimination Chamber 2018, he competed in a seven-superstar chamber match. Eliminating five of his opponents, four of them being former World Champion. Despite ultimately getting pinned by Roman Reigns, that feat set the record for most eliminations in a chamber match. Shayna Baszler has since tied Strowman’s record.

As of June 2 2020, only five superstars have pinned Strowman in one on one action. Those being Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Baron Corbin, Brock Lesnar, and Roman Reigns. Strowman is 3 & 1 at Wrestle Mania and on the WrestleMania kickoff. He has victories at the last three Show of Shows. Defeating the Bar, winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and pinning Goldberg to become Universal Champion.

Braun worked in a body shop one upon a time, but he has bad relationship with vehicles. In April 2017, he flipped over an ambulance, in January 2018, he destroyed a TV production truck. In January 2019, he pushed over Mr. McMahon’s Limousine, and in March 2019, he wrecked a new muscle car that SNL’s Collin Jost sent him as a peace offering before WrestleMania.
