WWE Legend The Rock recently went live on Instagram and he was asked potentially taking on against Roman Reigns. He thinks anything is possible and that he is willing to return for a match against The Big Dog.
However, the bout would have to happen at the right venue. The Brahma Bull added that the business model would have to be right for such a match. He admitted that it’s tough to turn down Vince McMahon, and he considers The Boss his mentor and close confidant.
Here’s what 10-time WWE Champion said about the possible match against Reigns:
“Is The Rock vs. Roman Reigns possibile? Yeah, I think anything is possible. Sure, of course. I’m always open and you know that’s the cool thing about the world of professional wrestling. There is adaptability to wrestling and you know, you never say never in the world of pro wrestling.”
“You never say no with Vince McMahon, who has been one of my mentors in business for a very very long time and a very very close friend and confidant. Yeah, so you never so no. I think for something like that to happen, the venue would have to be right. I think the business model would have to be right. But I’m very close to Roman, that’s family to me. We’ll see.”
WWE WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Former Universal Champion has already pitched the dream match against The Great One at WrestleMania Hollywood.
During a recent WrestleMania 37 press conference, SmackDown Superstar Roman Reigns said that he would love to face The Rock next year. The Big Dog sent a message to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson while speaking to the members of the press.
“I said it earlier man, if there’s a stadium, hey DJ, check it out! Not bad, right? I mean, everyone’s always dream matching me and him. First of all, it’s family, so it’s love but, if there was going to be an event to compete in, to perform in, a venue to hold that mass scale of attention that he is going to bring, it’s right in your backyard, you know what I mean, you don’t have to go far.”
