Hulk Hogan is possibly the greatest Superstar to ever have stepped inside the squared circle. Way back in the ’80s, he’s the biggest star in the industry. In WCW, Hogan revived his career as the top heel in the business during the 90s. When he returned to WWE in 2002, his popularity was still at its peak as a part of the nWo.
Moreover, The Canadian fans heavily cheered him during his WrestleMania 18 match against The Rock. So, the promotion gave him another run with the WWE title. At WWE Backlash 2002, The Hulkster defeated Triple H for the Championship. Hogan wrestled Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 19, what dubbed as a match “20 years in the making”.
Recently, Hulk Hogan sat down with Los Angeles Week and talked about a potential return. WWE Hall of Famer stated that he wants his final match against Vince himself, as a rematch from WrestleMania 19. Also, Hogan said he has been in talks with McMahon regarding the same. The legendary performer would love to have one last match at WrestleMania 36.
“I’d love for it to be against Vince. I had such a great time with him in the ring at WrestleMania 19. I had no idea what to expect from him, but he’s a great bad guy. His timing is great. I loved wrestling him, but everything he does hurts. When you’re in the ring with someone, and they’re hurting you, you kind of pinch them on the wrist, and the whole match I was doing that to Vince.”
