The Fiend emerged from the darkness to once again ambush Seth Rollins

WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins came out for this non-title Champion vs. Champion match. Bray Wyatt interrupted on the big screen with a new Firefly Funhouse segment. Wyatt introduced everyone to his home and his various puppets. Ramblin’ Rabbit was still alive, and he’s wearing a Rollins t-shirt. He wanted to be like Rollins when he grows up. Ramblin’ Rabbit went on until Wyatt stopped him. Wyatt suggested they show Rollins what will happen on Sunday at Hell in a Cell instead of talking.

However, the Rabbit, representing Rollins, locked inside of a small red cage. Mercy The Buzzard appeared and was representing The Fiend. Rollins watched from the ring, and Wyatt warned this could get messy. Mercy destroyed Ramblin’ and left nothing but a bunch of stuffing and a few body parts. Wyatt found this to be hilarious. He got serious and said history has a horrible way of repeating itself. Wyatt said now it’s Rollins’ turn. He flashed with a quick reminder of The Fiend.

So, Wyatt laughed again and said he will see Rollins later. The segment ended while Rollins looked on from the ring. WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was out next with Sami Zayn while Greg Hamilton did the introductions.  Also, we saw WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan mingling in the crowd at ringside. The bell rang for the match, and Nakamura quickly went for an armbar, but Rollins broke free. He nailed two straight suicide dives to the floor.

Rollins chased Zayn off at ringside and warned him. He went back in but Nakamura attacks. Rollins fought him off and hit a Slingblade. Nakamura sent Rollins to the apron and kicked him. Rollins came back with a kick to the neck from the apron. He springboarded back into the ring with a knee to the face. Rollins superkicked Nakamura for another pop. Rollins cranked up while the “Burn It Down!” chant started.

The lights suddenly went down, and it sounded like “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt’s presence. We heard the menacing sounds while the lights came up low. They were looking around, Rollins on the stage, and Nakamura in the ring. The Fiend appeared behind Rollins on the stage and quickly brought him down with the Mandible Claw. Wyatt shoved Rollins off the stage and stared down at him. The lights went back out, and we heard Wyatt laughing over the arena.
