SmackDown Results: Kevin Owens brawled with Dolph Ziggler & stunned Shane McMahon

SmackDown Live started with a video from earlier today, showing Dolph Ziggler arriving in the back parking lot. Kayla Braxton stopped him to ask about Kevin Owens and tonight’s match. The Show-Off ranted about carrying Owens like he’s carried WWE for the past decade. Owens came pulling up in a car, honking the horn. They argued, and this led to blows as Owens strikes first. Also, they brawled until Superstars came and broke it up.

Further, Shane McMahon appeared as they separated. Shane ordered Owens to leave the building. The Best in the World was backstage with Sarah Schreiber. She asked why he canceled the Owens vs. Ziggler match. Shane talked about how we can’t have that kind of behavior in WWE. He said he has other ideas for tonight’s main event and will go work on that.

Shane O Mac walked off. Suddenly, Kevin Owens appeared at ringside with a mic, cutting the announcers off. KO talked about how he watched the McMahon Family show up weeks ago and promise change. But the only thing that’s happened is Shane getting more power. But no one wanted to see that. Fans cheered Owens on while he continued yelling about Shane.

KO said this is the biggest load of crap he’s ever seen in WWE. Shane walked down the ramp and has Owens’ mic cut while fans booed. Owens called him an idiot and grabbed another mic. Moreover, he talked about how Shane disrespects every performer when he calls himself the best in the world. Owens said it makes everyone sick.

He said everyone in the back thinks, “Shane can kiss my ass” when he calls himself the best. However, Shane wanted Owens stopped. Owens went on about how Shane takes TV time from people like Ali, Buddy Murphy, Apollo Crews, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and others. Before leaving KO rocked Shane with a Stunner while a “thank you Owens” chant broke out.
