Seth Rollins def. Adam Cole via DQ in edge-of-your-seat thrilling for NXT Title

Seth Rollins made his way out for tonight’s main event. NXT Champion Adam Cole was out next with Triple H. We got formal ring introductions before they begin. The bell rang, and they went at it, trading holds and going to the mat, then backed up. Both went to the ropes, and the referee counted, warning Rollins to back off. They tangled some more, and Cole took it to the corner. Rollins clotheslined out of the corner.

Rollins delivered strikes and a clothesline to send Cole over the top rope to the floor. He launched himself out to take Cole back down. Rollins worked over Cole on the floor while Triple H watched from a chair. He brought it back in, but Cole blocked a Buckle Bomb. Rollins missed a Stomp as Cole retreated to the floor for a breather. He ended up meeting Cole at ringside and leveling him again. Rollins launched Cole into the barrier with ease and stood tall.

Triple H watched as Cole rocked Rollins and dropped him with a knee. Cole covered for a two count. He talked trash and rocked Rollins some more. Rollins fought back with chops. They traded more big strikes. Rollins ended up nailing a superkick to the jaw while Cole was on his knees. He charges in the corner after more offense. Rollins went flying in at Cole off the springboard, but Cole knocked him out of mid-air with a big superkick for a two count.

Moreover, Cole strikes with a Panama Sunrise attempt followed by a big Buckle Bomb by Rollins for a two count. Rollins ran the ropes and nailed a suicide dive, sending Cole into the barrier. He rushed back in and reran the ropes, nailing a second dive. Rollins brought it back in and springboarded at Cole with a big knee. Cole countered a move and leveled Rollins by dropping his neck over the knee for a two count. He waited for Rollins.

Cole ended up connecting with another big kick, but Rollins kicked out. He showed some frustration. Cole went for the Last Shot, but Rollins countered and rolled him up for a two count. They both came right back but collided with clothesline attempts. Both superstars went down, and the referee checked on them. They climbed to the top, and Rollins nailed a big superplex. He held onto it and hit Cole with a Falcon Arrow, but he still kicked out at two.

Triple H stood up from his chair at ringside, looking a bit concerned. Some fans cheered while Triple H stared Rollins down. So, the fans chanted “burn it down!” as Rollins cranked up for the Stomp, waiting for Cole to get back up. Suddenly, NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish appeared at ringside. O’Reilly grabbed Rollins’ leg for the disqualification.

After the bell, Rollins turned around to a flying knee from NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong. The Undisputed Era unloaded on Rollins. Several member of the RAW roster ran down to even the odds. More NXT Superstars also ran down, including Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee, Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, and Damian Priest. The OC, Curt Hawkins, Ricochet, Zack Ryder, Erick Rowan, and others were out for RAW.

The big RAW vs. NXT brawl continued at ringside. Ricochet flew from the ring and took down a bunch of Superstars at ringside. So, the fans chanted, “holy shit!” Lee ran the ropes and flew over the top, taking down a group of Superstars again. RAW went off the air with the NXT vs. RAW brawl continuing at ringside.
