Natalya came out to the ring. We saw stills from her Submission Match loss to RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. Natalya said she tapped out and admitted The Man was the better woman. The Queen of Harts said she has a dislocated elbow and will be undergoing an MRI tomorrow. Natalya said this is where she’s supposed to take back what she said about Lynch, but she doesn’t regret a damn thing.
Natalya said she and Lynch would do this again – but she doesn’t know when or where. Also, Natalya wanted to share something special with the fans. She recalled how her dad, the late WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart said he was proud of her. She said today marks one year since The Anvil died. However, the music interrupted, and Sasha Banks came out making her return to WWE.
The Boss got a pop and stopped to greet fans at ringside. She entered the ring and hugged Natalya. They had some friendly words and Banks went for a mic but turned to drop Natalya. Thus, the crowd went wild with a mixed reaction. Banks took off her purple wig and revealed new blue hair. Banks pounded on Natalya while a “holy shit!” chant broke out.
The Boss sent Natalya into the corner and continued the beatdown. Banks tossed Natalya to the floor and followed. She sent Natalya into the steel steps, and a “thank you, Sasha!” chant broke out. Banks delivered another shot into the steps. She brought Natalya back in the squared circle and brought a steel chair. Banks hit a running kick to the head and more stomps.
Moreover, the music interrupted, and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch came out. The Man rushed the ring and started brawling with Banks. The Boss took it to the floor and sent Lynch into the barrier a few times. Meanwhile, fans chanted “this is awesome!” Banks grabbed the steel chair and smacked Lynch over the back with it, and again, and again. The Boss unloaded with chair shots over Lynch’s back.
