WWE has already confirmed a title match on Twitter for the Raw after SummerSlam – with PPV isn’t even here yet. So, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles against The Kabuki Warriors. Ten high-profile matches already filled the SummerSlam card. Therefore, WWE chose to have the IIconics defend the Women’s Tag Team title at the final Raw before SummerSlam PPV. Later, it was revealed RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman called the bout.
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce put the Women’s tag team titles on the line in a Fatal-4 Way Elimination Tag-Team Match. The teams of Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Asuka & Kairi Sane and Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville, competed for the titles. The IIconics and Rose & Deville were eliminated early from the match. Finally, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross wiped out the Kabuki Warriors to win the Tag Team championships.
There is only no space for another title match on the SummerSlam card, as mentioned above. So, WWE figured it is perfect to have the Women’s tag team titles match on the Raw after SummerSlam. Also, the show after PPV usually draws enough rating. After having a title match on the RAW after SummerSlam should stimulate help the reason.

However, the SummerSlam card won’t include the generally new titles matches. Women’s Tag Team titles aren’t the only Championships that will miss from the PPV. Plus, both Raw & SmackDown Men’s Tag Team titles are at risk of being left out of the event.
Moreover, there were rumors about the Intercontinental title match at SummerSlam. Backstage reports conclude that WWE has still not concluded the last SummerSlam card. Also, WWE could make some last minutes additions. WWE may declare a couple of more matches for the significant RAW after The Biggest Event of Summer.
