Boa squared off against Jordan Myles in the first round of the NXT Breakout tournament on NXT July 10, 2019 show. Jordan Myles was formerly known as ACH. Myles looked for a handshake, but Boa bowed, Myles smiled and bowed back. Both ended up in the ropes. Boa looked for a kick and Myles ducked it. Boa took Myles down with a side headlock. He went for it again, but Myles blocked it. They traded counters – Boa applied a wristlock while Myles flipped off the top rope to get out of it.
Myles leaped over Boa, handspring backflip into a dropkick. Myles hit a double leg takedown and controlled the wrist. He had a big smile on his face the whole time he has the submission locked in. Boa tried for a back body drop, Myles rolled under to avoid a kick and pin. He got up quickly and landed a kick to the chest. Boa got Myles tied up in the ropes, hit an ax kick to the chest. Myles shoved in the corner, more kicks but Boa blocked the last one. Myles looked for a takedown but kicked sent him into the corner.
Boa hit an overhead German Suplex. Boa hit another kick to the chest, he tried again but blocked. Myles hit a big chop to the chest and then landed a flurry of kicks in the corner. He hit running forearms while Boa missed with a roundhouse. Myles swept the leg, low dropkick, kip-up, discus clothesline in the corner. Finally, he climbed to the top rope for a 450 splash, for the pin to win. Moreover, Dexter Lumis vs. Bronson Reed is the final first-round match in the NXT Breakout Tournament next week on NXT.
