Mia Yim defeated Vanessa Borne via Pinfall

Borne landed some kicks to the midsection; both wrestlers traded side headlocks. Yim with a shoulder block and hit shot to the throat. Then, Aliyah tripped up Yim, Borne landed a Samoan drop and covered for two counts. Borne tied Yim up in the ropes and swung away, then put a “Lower” sticker on Yim’s back. Plus, Borne called Yim a “loser.” Therefore, Yim punched her, and Borne slapped her back. Yim took Borne down into the ground and pounded. She hit a flurry of strikes and chops. Yim hit more chops in the corner, and hair whip across the ring. Also, she hit cannonball in the corner and protect ya for the pin to win the match.

Mia Yim turned down Shayna Baszler’s invitation

Afterward, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler headed out to the stage with a mic in hand. Crowd very split between the two. Baszler called Yim a badass and said Yim took her places she hasn’t been in the ring. The title-holder continued that she and Yim don’t have to stand across each other, like enemies, but rather stand beside her. Meanwhile, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir pop up on the apron behind Yim. So, Baszler asked Yim for an answer, while Yim went right after Duke & Shafir. Eventually, she got dropped quickly though as Baszler swung away while referees jumped in to break things up.

What Next On NXT TV?

Finally, Keith Lee vs. Dominik Dijakovic will get their rematch next week. The two hyped their upcoming bout and talked about how both of them are hybrid athletes. Besides, we saw clips from their first match where things ended in a double count-out. The Street Profits will defend their tag titles against Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly next week. Additionally, Adam Cole will defend his NXT Championship against Jordan Myles in two weeks.
