Roman Reigns came out first for tonight’s main event. The crowd seemed split but very loud. The Big Dog punched the ground, and the big pyro went off as he headed to the ring. Reigns waited while King Baron Corbin took his time with his entrance. Corbin’s music was still playing when Reigns clotheslined him over the top rope to the floor. So, the fans popped. Reigns followed on the floor and kept the beating going. He drove Corbin into the barrier and launched him into the barrier on the other side.
Reigns brought it back in the ring, and the bell hit. He mounted Corbin in the corner with strikes while the fans counted along. Corbin ended up turning it around, and some fans counted as he mounted Reigns in the corner. Reigns sent him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He delivered big clotheslines in the corner while fans rely along on. Reigns leveled Corbin with a big boot for a pop. He brought it back in and went for the Superman Punch, but Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler came down the ramp.
Reigns saw this and met Roode with a Superman Punch and then A Samoan Drop to Ziggler on the floor. Corbin approached, but Reigns rocked him and came back into the ring. He caught Reigns with a Deep Six for a two count. Corbin kept Reigns down, stopping to applaud himself. Ziggler and Roode watched from ringside, also cheering the King on. Corbin put boots to Reigns, keeping him down and talking more trash. He tossed Reigns to the floor.
The fans booed as Roode and Ziggler double-teamed him while the referee counted. Corbin followed and sent Reigns into the barricade after more trash talking. He brought it back into the ring, but Reigns rocked him. Corbin hit a knee to the gut. He ran out and back in, leveling Reigns with a big clothesline for a two count. Fans booed while Corbin was keeping Reigns down with elbow strikes. Roode and Ziggler watched from ringside. They traded strikes in the middle of the ring now. Fans counted along as they charged.
Corbin threw Reigns in the corner and charged but missed. Reigns delivered clotheslines. Reigns leaped but Corbin countered and caught him with a chokeslam for a two count. Corbin kept Reigns down with more strikes and trash-talking. The boos got way louder, and the trash-talking continued. Finally, The Big Dog fired up with a big right hand. Corbin missed a few more times, and Reigns leaped at him with a big clothesline for a two count. Reigns couldn’t believe it.
Roode distracted the referee while Ziggler ran over and grabbed Reigns from the apron. Reigns knocked Ziggler off the apron. He ran over and knocked Roode off the apron with a Superman Punch. Reigns went on and hit a Spear on Ziggler. However, Corbin took advantage and hit End of Days on Reigns for the pin. After the match, King Corbin stood tall with his scepter and King gear on the stage. Reigns tried to recover in the ring. Corbin celebrated on the stage and talked some trash about people bowing to him. SmackDown went off the air.
