First, Cole showed us a video package with highlights from Tyson Fury vs. Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel. Tyson Fury came out to a big hometown pop and played to the Manchester crowd some. The Gypsy King talked about traveling around the world. Some of the fights he’s been in, including Braun Strowman in Saudi Arabia.
Fury said there’s nothing like home, and this is where he calls home. So, he called in Manchester to make some more noise. Fury plugged his next fight with Deontay Wilder in February and said he will finish it because he doesn’t like unfinished business. Speaking of unfinished business, that’s why he’s here tonight because he has someone with a certain WWE Superstar.
However, the music interrupted, and Braun Strowman came to a pop. Strowman hit the ring and said Fury wanted him, so here he is. Fury thanked Strowman for the opportunity in Saudi Arabia and said he appreciates it. He added that it’s one of the hardest fights he’s been in, he knows why they call Braun, The Monster Among Men.
So, he extended his hand and they shook, and gave more thanks. Fury said if they ever fight again, it should be in a tag team. Fans popped while the two men play to the crowd. Strowman said he really likes the sound of that. But there aren’t two dudes in the back who are stupid enough to face them unless they’re trying to get all 4 of these hands.
Further, the music hit, and The B Team, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas came out. Axel took the mic and said, ‘Hey morons, we’re stupid enough to fight you.’ Dallas said that came out wrong and isn’t what Axel meant. More comedy from the B-team while they were on the apron. Thus, Strowman rushed them off the ring to the floor. He played to the crowd for pop and ran around the ring then leveled them on the floor.
Strowman rolled Dallas into the ring, and Fury dropped him right a big right. He rolled Axel in, and Fury taunted him with the threat of a punch. Strowman came in and hit Axel with a running powerslam. Fury and Strowman showed respect to each other again and stood tall, posing for the crowd.
