The Monster Among Men came out. We got more hype for the feud with Tyson Fury and the match at Crown Jewel. Drew Gulak waited in the ring while Strowman stared him down. Former Cruiserweight Champion made his blue brand debut. He went to the ropes and requested a mic. Gulak introduced himself and said he’s a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion. He happened to be the preeminent combat sports historian in the world.
Further, Gulak went on, and Strowman made a move towards him. He said if Strowman went into Crown Jewel being the same old Monster Among Men, Fury will knock him out but Strowman disagreed. Gulak said he’s cut from the same cloth and apparently wants to help Braun. He revealed a 345-slide PowerPoint presentation on the big screen, something he hasn’t done in a while on WWE 205 Live. Gulak said if Strowman follows the advice in the slides, he just might win at Crown Jewel.
Therefore, Strowman launched Gulak across the ring a few times. He followed up with a big boot to the face. Gulak kicked at Strowman’s leg and fought back, but Strowman dropped him with a headbutt. He got knocked to the floor. Strowman ran around the ring and levelled Gulak with a big shoulder, but fell on top of him this time. He brought it back into the ring and nailed a big splash in the corner while fans did the “get these hands!” chant.
Strowman clubbed Gulak back to the mat and scooped him for the big powerslam. Finally, he covered for the pin to win. After the match, The Monster Among Men stood tall while his music hit.
